“Finally, deep respect to Glen Hansard. Best opening act I’ve ever seen. It takes a lot for an opener to draw a crowd and keep them enthralled, but Glen managed to do so every single night. And when he plucked the first chords to Hairshirt to open up his set tonight, it was a personal goosebumps moment that I’ll never forget. He mentioned after he played it that it was the first song he ever cried to…I wish I could have told him that he just brought this grown man to tears.”
